Chhath Pooja 2026 – Festival of Gratitude to the Sun

छठ पूजा का उत्सव

Chhath is one of the biggest cultural celebrations of Bihar and Jharkhand — a festival of discipline, gratitude, and family togetherness that brings people together to thank the Sun and nature for giving us life and energy. BJANE is returning to Lakshmi Temple, Ashland, MA for a second year of Chhath Puja in 2026, observed over four days: Nahay Khay, Kharna, Sandhya Arghya, and Usha Arghya. This Chhath Puja is open to all — join us, sing the traditional songs, share the prasad, and feel the same spirit that our families feel back home in Bihar and Jharkhand.

Accessibility & Dietary Info

We are excited to share a brief youth performance and meet-and-greet with you! Please note that assistive listening systems are not available, and guests requiring audio assistance are welcome to use their personal devices. Light food is provided; however, because we cannot accommodate custom dietary restrictions or allergies, guests with specific medical dietary needs are fully welcome to bring their own snacks.
